Well, I am halfway through my first week without mom here to help me! So far so good! Camren has been going to school everyday until 2:45 and I thought that I might get bored around the house without him here to entertain me, but I was so wrong! The day goes by so fast and by the time I feed Crew every 3 hours, attempt to get ready for the day, pick up the millions of toys around the house, try to sleep some, and do other household chores, the day is already gone! I do LOVE it when Camren gets home though bc he is always so excited to see us and then we have the rest of the night to play! He doesnt have school on Fridays so I am excited about spending the whole day with both boys!!
Coby has been a huge help this week too and hasnt had to work near as much as last week, so that has been a HUGE blessing! He is a great Daddy and has been a huge help with Camren! I could watch them play together all day long!
Camren is adjusting great! He loves his little brother and is starting to acknowledge him a lot more than he used to. However at night time, if Camren is already asleep in his crib and he hears Crew start to cry, he starts to cry! Not sure why? He always goes right back to sleep, but it never fails that if baby brother cries, he cries, but only at night ( thank goodness )! Camren is now officially WALKING! His teachers at school says he has the Frankenstein walk bc he hasnt mastered being a graceful walker, but it is the cutest sight to see! We are so proud of him. We just love watching him walk all over the house! He has been so sweet lately and has been melting mine and especially Daddy's little heart! We feel so incredibly blessed to have such a sweet boy!
Crew is doing great as well! He is eating good, sleeping good, and overall a perfect little baby! He is a BIG cuddler, which Coby and I both love! He makes the sweetest little faces at us! We had his 2 week doctors appointment on Tuesday and even though he is eating good, and peeing and pooping like he is supposed to, he hasnt gained enough weight! I have to take him back next week for a weight check to make sure he is gaining enough. So this little Mommy is on a mission to fatten Crew up! This is something I never had to worry about with Camren. Crew is also a big swaddle baby! He LOVES it! My friend Darby told me about this blanket called the "Woombie", which is a zip up swaddle blanket that forms to the babies body! I just ordered it last night, so I will post pics and let you know if it works when I get it in!
I am doing good too! I am pretty exhausted, but its all worth it! I feel so blessed to be a Mommy to 2 precious little boys! All the fears that I had before Crew got here are gone and I am reminded that the Lord doesnt give you more than you can handle. I was worried that I wouldnt be able to spend as much time with Cam as I used to, but I have actually got to spend more time with him and enjoyed him more than ever! Coby keeps saying that he needs to hurry up and get me pregnant again bc its already been 2 weeks since I havent been pregnant! =) He says that he was really getting used to my big belly, and was starting to think that it was sexy! ( yah right )
Crew has seemed to be very easy, but I am not sure if its bc I just did this a year ago so its all fresh on my mind! One main thing I am thankful for is that Crew is a great nurser unlike Camren! My goal is to nurse at least until I go back to work in January and then see how I am feeling after that.
We had a great Halloween too! Camren was a monkey and Crew was a giraffe! We had fun taking Camren trick or treating to our friends houses while Mimi and G-dad babysat Crew. Next year, they will both be able to trick or treat with us! I cannot wait for them to be able to run around and play together! I am starting to pray now that they love each other so much and are the best of friends!
My boys are irresistible! Enjoy the pics of our sweet little babes over the past 2 weeks! We are having soo much fun with them!

Very sweet. I'm glad you are adjusting!!
yay!!! I love all of these pictures!! I mean, you have TWO boys!! I seriously cannot wait! How are you feeling after the surgery??
Way to go Camren on walking!! Isn't it crazy to think in one year how much they change? So this time next year you'll have a spunky running two year old and his sweet baby brother toddling right after him!
LOVE IT!
Hey Jenn! Great update on the family! Thanks so much for your comment on my recent post! Yes, boys are SO much fun! I am blessed to have two great little guys who love each other (most of the time) and have a great brotherly bond! I have a good friend who has two little boys that are 15 months apart and they are the best of friends!!! I know yours will be the same. What adorable little men you have! Cam is quite the little picture taker huh? We will definitely swing by to see you when we're in town next!!! Take care of yourself and that precious family!!!
You are giving me great hope for when our little Lincoln Walker arrives! You make it sound so easy. Are you revealing everything? HA!
Yay big walker! Perfect timing Cam. Now you can help mommy out by fetching diapers & burp cloths for Crew!
I love the costumes. I hope I get to meet that cutie patootie giraffe soon.
How sweet!! I'm so glad your loving your family of four! The pictures of Camren crack me up...way to cute!
Great update!! I have a friend that her doctor put her on a steak / egg diet to fatten up her baby - and it worked like a champ!! Let me know if you are interested! I believe that she has to have eggs every morning, a dark beer every so many days, and a steak every other day.
